Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Now, in these days, you find groups of young people or others who have a specific leader, or whom they call their general guide, to whom they return for every small and large matter, and they do not decide on a matter or go to a place or do anything without first consulting him. Is their action in this form correct, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : No, it is not correct. This small leadership is only for travel, because if travelers do not have a specific leader, they will get lost. But to establish a leadership and authority for a specific person within the town, to whom people return, and whose opinion may be followed, and where there may also be a religious sentiment, this is not prescribed (mashru') and is not known as a precedent from the Companions. It is not prescribed. Every person who follows a path that is not prescribed commits a sin. And perhaps this man will be deviant one day, forbidding them from obeying the rulers. Yes.

The questioner : ... Is it he or she? He or she?

The Shaykh : So yes, the first wet nurse, yes. So yes, the wet nurse is she.

The questioner : ... He went with al-Fatimah ...

The Shaykh : It is permissible. The word "nimah" (grace/blessing) is permissible to be feminized or masculinized.

The questioner : And "Fatimah" as well?

The Shaykh : It came as masculine, so yes, al-Fatimah is she.
