Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Adam narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umar narrated to us: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah say:
Abu Bakrah wrote to his son, who was in Sijistan, saying, "Do not judge between two people while you are angry, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Let no judge rule between two people while he is angry.'" كتب أبو بكرة إلى ابنه وكان بسجستان بأن لا تقضي بين اثنين وأنت غضبان فإني سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : لا يقضين حكم بين اثنين وهو غضبان
.

The Shaykh : "Ghadib" (angry) is a descriptive noun derived from anger. It is an emotional reaction that occurs in a person when he has the ability to take revenge. It has three levels: the highest, the lowest, and the middle. As for the highest level, it is when anger takes hold of a person to the extent that he does not know whether he is on earth or in the sky. In this state, his words are not considered valid by consensus. Even if he divorces his wife, makes a vow, or frees his slaves in this state, his words are not considered valid.
The reciter: Chapter on whether a judge may judge or issue a fatwa while he is angry.
Adam narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Malik ibn 'Umar narrated to us: I heard 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakrah say:
Abu Bakrah wrote to his son, who was in Sijistan, saying, "Do not judge between two people while you are angry, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Let no judge rule between two people while he is angry.'" كتب أبو بكرة إلى ابنه وكان بسجستان بأن لا تقضي بين اثنين وأنت غضبان فإني سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول : لا يقضين حكم بين اثنين وهو غضبان
.

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
We were discussing anger and that it is a coal that Satan throws into the heart of the son of Adam until his neck veins swell, his eyes redden, his hair stands on end, and his mind becomes confused.
