The Shaykh : Yes, food that falls on the tablecloth is included in the saying of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him):
When a morsel of any of you falls, he should pick it up and remove any dirt on it, and then eat it. He should not leave it for Satan إذا سقطت لقمة أحدكم فليأخذها وليمط ما بها من أذى ولا يدعها للشيطان
