What is the ruling on building a structure to protect a grave from being trampled by animals?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. In the area where I am currently located, there is a grave outside the town!

The Shaykh : Which town is this?

The questioner : In an area near Dakhna.

The Shaykh : A village, you mean?

The questioner : A village. There is a grave outside this village, and a tree has grown on this grave. The camels came to eat from this tree and trample on this grave. To protect this grave, a wall was placed around it. Is this action permissible or not?

The Shaykh : First, may Allah bless you. The issue is not a problem. This tree should be uprooted from its roots.

The questioner : I am asking about the wall, O Shaykh. The wall around the grave?

The Shaykh : Stay with me. If we uproot it from its roots, the camels will not come, and we will be safe from the harm of the camels, and the grave will remain as it is. As for the building on it, I fear that if time passes for the people, they will be misguided by it, believing that it is the grave of a wali (close friend of Allah) or a righteous person. Then the issue of graves will return to this kingdom after Allah purified it from them by the hand of Imam Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him). So now, you must inform the judge about the matter, especially if the building is close, as if it is!

The questioner : Close.

The Shaykh : As if it is a room.

The questioner : Yes, as if it is a room.

The Shaykh : So this must be removed. And the grave, if any remains are left in it, should be moved to another place. And if they have gone, they have gone. Yes.
