What is the ruling on training in the army to eat snakes in order to get accustomed to eating them in areas of extreme hardship during war?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah.
Your Eminence, regarding the second question from this session!

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : Regarding the brother's question about eating frogs.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Regarding this, we find that some of the training that takes place in the army, and so on, is only in areas of extreme hardship.

The Shaykh : Areas of what?

The questioner : Extreme hardship, in wars, meaning, a person is forced to eat these things, meaning, not intentionally, but rather they train for it for the sake of necessity.

The Shaykh : But my brother, if a person gets hungry, he will eat whether he trained or not.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : So he does not need to train. Does one train in eating? If a person gets hungry, he eats, but he trains in facing the enemies, and in charging and retreating, there is no harm in that.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : As for training in eating and drinking urine, this is not correct.

The questioner : But in areas of extreme hardship, Shaykh, they do not find anything to eat.

The Shaykh : Okay, areas of extreme hardship, if extreme hardship occurs and you do not find anything there but snakes, you eat them even if you did not train. The child is guided by Allah to his mother's breast, and he knows the location of the breast, and the adult does not know that if he gets hungry he eats the animal or the snake? So this does not need training at all.

The questioner : May Allah reward you.

The Shaykh : Then note the poison. You might say: they train them in the poison. The poison is not in the body itself. The poison occurs from the reaction of this animal, and then this fluid emerges from it, just as the human has the base fluid from which the child is created, which does not come out except after its causes are present. Yes, that is right.
