Is tawarruk only in the four-rak'ah prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His EminenceThe Shaykh : Is tawarruk only in the four-rak'ah prayer, only in the four-rak'ah prayer?

The Shaykh : Tawarruk, may Allah reward you, is done in the second tashahhud of every prayer that has two tashahhuds: such as Maghrib, Zuhr, 'Asr, and 'Isha'. As for the prayer that has only one tashahhud, one does not perform tawarruk in it.
Then, tawarruk is done in the final tashahhud that is followed by the taslim. So, if we suppose that a person joins the imam in the second rak'ah and sits with him for the first tashahhud and the final tashahhud, he does not perform tawarruk in the imam's final tashahhud, because it is not his final one; rather, he performs tawarruk in the final one that is followed by the taslim.
