The Shaykh : Yes, there is no doubt that the Qur'an is differentiated. The Qur'an is differentiated in terms of its subject matter, its style, and its impact, but it is not differentiated in terms of the One who spoke it, for the One who spoke it is One, (Exalted and Majestic is He). But there is no doubt that the subject of
(1) Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One, (2) Allah, the Eternal Refuge. (3) He neither begets nor is born, (4) Nor is there to Him any equivalent." قل هو الله أحد الله الصمد لم يلد ولم يولد ولم يكن له كفوا أحد
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4]
is not like the subject of the surah before it, which is
May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. تبت يدا أبي لهب وتب
[Al-Masad 111:1]
