The reader: And Muhammad ibn Mahrān narrated to us, al-Walīd ibn Muslim narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Numayr informed us that he heard Ibn Shihāb reporting from ‘Urwah from ‘A’ishah,
the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited loudly in the eclipse prayer, and he observed four rak'ahs in the form of two rak'ahs and four prostrations. أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَهَرَ فِي صَلَاةِ الْخُسُوفِ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ، فَصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ فِي رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ سَجَدَاتٍ
