The Book of Friday Prayer, the Two Festivals, the Prayer for Rain, the Eclipse Prayer, and Funerals-06a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to us, Hushaym informed us, from Isma'il, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Verily the sun and the moon are the two signs among the signs of Allah by which He frightens his servants and they do not eclipse on account of the death of any one of the people. So when you see anything about them, observe prayer, supplicate Allah till it is cleared from you.
