The reciter: Yahya ibn Ayyub narrated to us, Ibn 'Ulayyah narrated to us, Ayyub informed us, from Muhammad ibn Sirin, who said: Umm 'Atiyyah said:

We were forbidden to follow the bier, but it was not made absolute on us.

كُنَّا نُنْهَى عَنِ اتِّبَاعِ الْجَنَائِزِ، وَلَمْ يُعْزَمْ عَلَيْنَا
