The reciter: And Abu al-Rabi' al-Zuhri narrated to me, Hammad—meaning Ibn Zayd—narrated to us. And Yahya ibn Yahya narrated to me, Ja'far ibn Sulayman informed us. Both of them from Thabit, from Anas, who said:
A funeral was brought past the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) مُرَّ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِجَنَازَةٍ
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 5:1092
, and he mentioned it in the sense of the hadith of 'Abd al-'Aziz from Anas, except that the hadith of 'Abd al-'Aziz is more complete.

The Shaykh : We have previously spoken about the issue of praising a person with good or with evil, and we said: Some scholars derived from this that whoever the Ummah, or the majority of it, agrees to praise is among the people of good, and Paradise is obligatory for him; and whoever is the opposite is among the people of evil, and the Fire is obligatory for him. We mentioned that the majority of the theologians discussing the beliefs of the people of the Sunnah did not mention this.
