The reciter: And Abu al-Rabi' al-Zuhri narrated to me, saying: Hammad, meaning the son of Ka'b ibn Zayd, narrated to us from Thabit and 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Sahib from Anas. And Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated it to us, saying: Hammad, meaning the son of Zayd, narrated to us from Thabit and Shu'ayb ibn al-Hajjaj from Anas. And Qutaybah narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us from Qatadah and 'Abd al-'Aziz from Anas. And Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd al-Ghabri narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Awanah narrated to us from Abu Usman from Anas. And Zuhayr ibn Harb narrated to me, saying: Mu'adh ibn Hisham narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me from Shu'ayb ibn al-Hajjaj from Anas. And Muhammad ibn Rafi' narrated to me, saying: Yahya ibn Adam, 'Umar ibn Sa'd, and 'Abd al-Razzaq all narrated to us from Sufyan from Yunus ibn 'Ubayd from Shu'ayb ibn al-Hajjaj from Anas. All of them narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)
The Prophet (ﷺ) set Safiyah (RA) free, and made her freedom her dowry. أنه أعتق صفية وجعل عتقها صداقها
