The reciter: And 'Ali ibn al-Hajj al-Sa'di and Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Hanzali narrated to me, and the wording is that of Ishaq. 'Ali said: He narrated to us, and Ishaq said: He informed us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Muhammad, from 'Abd al-Wahid ibn Hamzah, from 'Abbad ibn 'Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr
That 'A'ishah ordered that the funeral of Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas be brought through the mosque so that she would pray over him. The people objected to her regarding this, so she said: How quickly the people have forgotten that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed over Suhayl ibn al-Bayda' in the mosque. أن عائشة أمرت أن يمر بجنازة سعد بن أبي وقاص في المسجد فتصلي عليه فأنكر الناس ذلك عليها فقالت ما أسرع ما نسي الناس ما صلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على سهيل بن البيضاء إلا في المسجد
