The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Abu Kuraib narrated to us, and they said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Habib ibn Abi Thabit from Sa'id ibn Jubayr from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said:
Al-Asib ibn Jathamah gifted a wild donkey to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in the state of ihram, so he returned it to him and said: "Were we not in the state of ihram, we would have accepted it from you." أهدى الصعب بن جثامة إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حمار وحشٍ ، وهو محرم ، فرده عليه ، وقال : لولا أنا محرمون ، لقبلناه منك
