The reciter: And Abu Kuraib narrated, he said: Abu Asimah narrated to us, he said: Hisham narrated to us from his father, he said:
Hisham narrated on the authority of his father that the Arabs with the exception of Hums who were Quraish, and their descendants, circumambulated the House naked. They kept circumambulating In this state of nudity unless the Hums supplied to them the clothes. The male provided (clothes) to the male and the female provided clothes to the female. And the Hums did not get out of Muzdalifa, whereas the people (other than the Quraish) went t o 'Arafat.
كانت العرب تطوف بالبيت عراةً ، إلّا الحمس ، والحمس قريش وما ولدت ، كانوا يطوفون عراةً ، إلّا أن تعطيهم الحمس ثيابًا ، فيعطي الرّجال الرّجال ، والنّساء النّساء ، وكانت الحمس لا يخرجون من المزدلفة ، وكان النّاس كلّهم يبلغون عرفاتٍ , Hisham said: So my father narrated to me from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), she said:
The Hams are those about whom Allah the Mighty and Majestic revealed: "Then
الحمس هم الّذين أنزل الله عزّ وجلّ فيهم : ثم
