Explanation of the Book of Hajj-10a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Ali ibn Abdullah narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, Amr narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Muttam narrated to us from his father:
I was looking for a camel of mine. And Musaddad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us from Amr, he heard Muhammad ibn Jubayr from his father, Jubayr ibn Muttam, who said: I lost a camel of mine, so I went out to look for it on the Day of 'Arafah. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) standing at 'Arafah, so I said: By Allah, this is one of the Hamis, so what is his business here?

The Shaykh : The Hamis: This means the Quraysh. They did not stand at 'Arafah due to pre-Islamic tribalism, saying: We are the people of the Haram, so we do not stand except in the Haram. They used to stand at Muzdalifah. For this reason, Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
So he passed by, meaning the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), until he reached 'Arafah. And the Quraysh did not doubt that he was standing there.
meaning at Muzdalifah, as the Quraysh used to do in the pre-Islamic age of ignorance. Yes.
