The reciter: Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Sa'id narrated to us from 'Ubayd Allah, who said: Nafi' informed me from Ibn 'Umar from Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with them), who said:
I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "What is the matter with the people that they have exited the state of consecration, but you have not exited from your 'Umrah?" He said: "I have branded my sacrificial animal and shaved my head, so I will not exit the state of consecration until I exit from Hajj."
قلت للنّبيّ صلّى الله عليه وسلّم : ما شأن النّاس حلّوا ولم تحلّ من عمرتك ؟ قال : إنّي قلّدت هديي ، ولبّدت رأسي ، فلا أحلّ حتّى أحلّ من الحجّ
