The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, Sulayman ibn Dawud narrated to us, Ma'ruf ibn Khurthud narrated to us, saying: I heard Abu al-Tufayl say:
he saw God’s messenger going round the House, touching the corner with a crooked stick which he had, and kissing the crooked stick رأيت رسول الله صلّى الله عليه وسلّم يطوف بالبيت ، ويستلم الرّكن بمحجنٍ معه ويقبّل المحجن
