The Shaykh : What is meant by it here is the pleasure of the pilgrimage, not the pleasure of women, because the pleasure of women was forbidden during the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and did not return to being lawful during the time of the Caliphs.
Jabir ibn Abdullah arrived performing the lesser pilgrimage, so we went to his residence and the people asked him about several matters, then they mentioned the pleasure of the pilgrimage. He said: Yes, we practiced the pleasure of the pilgrimage during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr, and Umar.
