Explanation of the Book of Tawhid-07b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: Abdullah ibn Muslimah narrated to us, saying: Fudayl narrated to us from Mansur from Ibrahim from Hammam from 'Adi ibn Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), saying: "I send out my trained dogs." He said: "If you send out your trained dogs and mention the name of Allah, and they catch the prey, then eat it. And if you shoot with arrows and they pierce the prey, then eat it." سألت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قلت أرسل كلابي المعلمة قال : إذا أرسلت كلابك المعلمة وذكرت اسم الله فأمسكن فكل وإذا رميت بالمعراض فخرق فكل
.

The Shaykh : In our version, it is "khazaqa" with a zay. Now, 'Adi ibn Hatim asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) whether it is permissible or not to send out his trained dogs, which would bring back the prey having killed it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed him that it is permissible, but on the condition that he mentions the name of Allah. Here we examine this hadith from a jurisprudential perspective.
