The reciter: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, Shu'ayb narrated to us, from al-Zuhri, who said: Amr ibn Abi Sufyan ibn Asid ibn Jariyah al-Thaqafi, an ally of Banu Zuhrah and one of the companions of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), informed me that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 7402
Then 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Iyad informed me that the daughter of al-Harith:
" لست أبالي حين أقتل مسلما *** على أي شق كان في الله مصرعي
وذلك في ذات الإله وإن يشأ *** يبارك على أوصال شلو ممزع "
فقتله ابن الحارث فأخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أصحابه خبرهم يوم أصيبوا.

بعث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عشرة منهم خبيب الأنصاريThen 'Ubayd Allah ibn 'Iyad informed me that the daughter of al-Harith:
She told him that when they gathered, he borrowed a razor from her to shave with. When they left the sanctuary to kill him, Khubayb al-Ansari said: "I do not care when I am killed a Muslim *** on which side my death is for Allah, and that is for the sake of the Lord, and if He wills *** He will bless the severed limbs of a torn camel." So the son of al-Harith killed him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed his companions of their news on the day they were struck.
أخبرته أنهم حين اجتمعوا استعار منها موسى يستحد بها فلما خرجوا من الحرم ليقتلوه قال خبيب الأنصاري :" لست أبالي حين أقتل مسلما *** على أي شق كان في الله مصرعي
وذلك في ذات الإله وإن يشأ *** يبارك على أوصال شلو ممزع "
فقتله ابن الحارث فأخبر النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أصحابه خبرهم يوم أصيبوا
