The reader: "Then, if Allah wills, we are beginning to trace the sources of what you asked about and compile it, subject to a condition I will mention to you, which is that we will take the collection of reports attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and divide them into three categories and three levels of people, without repetition, except where a place arises where it is not possible to do without repeating a hadith that contains an additional meaning, or a chain of narration that appears alongside another chain due to a defect present there. This is because the additional meaning in the hadith that is needed serves the role of a complete hadith. Therefore, it is necessary to repeat the hadith containing the additional description we mentioned, or to separate that meaning from the body of the hadith in a concise manner if possible. However, separating it from the whole may be difficult, so repeating it in its original form is safer if that is the case,
As for what we find no need to repeat in its entirety without our requiring it, we will not undertake to do so, if Allah wills. As for the first category... "

The Shaykh : And in this, al-Bukhari differed; he differed from Sahih al-Bukhari, in that he, may Allah have mercy on him, says: We do not repeat a hadith, nor do we bring anything extra, except when necessity calls for it. As for al-Bukhari, he repeats a hadith either to derive a ruling from it, or for something related to the chains of narration, a point in the chains of narration or something similar. You will find he places several headings over the same hadith in several places. Each has his opinion, and each has a degree of what he has done. Al-Bukhari focused on deriving rulings from the hadiths, and for this reason he has many headings, and he may place several headings over one hadith. As for Muslim, his approach is the opposite, and for this reason Sahih Muslim was not organized into chapters, but was listed sequentially from beginning to end, with no chapters. However, those who came after him are the ones who organized this Sahih into chapters. But in terms of arrangement, Muslim is better than al-Bukhari. And the majority of scholars agreed that al-Bukhari is more authentic than Muslim, and that Muslim is better in terms of craftsmanship. And if the two Imams agree on a hadith, that is sufficient for its authenticity. Yes.
