Q2: We pray six rak'ahs before the obligatory prayer, then the obligatory prayer of four rak'ahs, and we pray four rak'ahs after the obligatory prayer ?
A2: It is established in the SunnahRiyad as-Salihin 1114 , narrated by al-Bukhari , and from Umm Habibah (may Allah be pleased with her) she said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 428Sahih (Darussalam) , narrated by Abu Dawud and al-Nasa'i and al-Tirmidhi who said: It is a good, authentic hadith, and from Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) he said: Riyad as-Salihin 1113 , narrated by
al-Bukhari and Muslim . So it is known from these hadiths and others that it is recommended for the Muslim to maintain four rak'ahs before the obligatory Dhuhr prayer and four rak'ahs after it, following the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and seeking this great reward. And if one increases beyond that or decreases, there is no blame in it; because what is before the Dhuhr prayer and what is after it is a time in which it is prescribed to perform voluntary prayer with as much as one wishes.
