The reciter: Yahya ibn Ayyub and Qutaybah ibn Sa'id both narrated to me from Isma'il ibn Ja'far, from Abu Suhayl, from his father, from Talhah ibn 'Ubayd Allah, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with this hadith, similar to Malik's hadith, except that he said: Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He has succeeded, and his father, if he is truthful, or he has entered Paradise, and his father, if he is truthful أفلح وأبيه إن صدق ، أو دخل الجنّة وأبيه إن صدق
