The Shaykh : What is the evidence that prayer in the cemetery is invalid? The evidence for this is that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
All of the earth is a Masjid except for the graveyard and the washroom. الأرض كلها مسجد إلا المقبرة والحمام

Do not pray toward graves and do not sit on them لا تصلوا إلى القبور ولا تتكئوا عليها
