The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Abu Kuraib narrated to us, saying: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Salih from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

There came the people of Yemen who are soft of hearts, tender in feelings: the belief is that of the Yemenites, the sagacity is that of the Yemenites and the summit of unbelief is towards the East.

أتاكم أهل اليمن ، هم ألين قلوبًا وأرقّ أفئدةً ، الإيمان يمانٍ ، والحكمة يمانيةٌ ، رأس الكفر قبل المشرق
