What is the authenticity of the phrase “May Allah honor his face” following the mention of 'Ali ibn Abi Talib?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : We often read in the books of the people of the Sunnah that they say, when 'Ali is mentioned: “May Allah honor his face.” Is this a form of supplication, or is it a form of honor because he did not prostrate to an idol?

The Shaykh : Never. And there were many Companions who did not prostrate to an idol. But this, as I told you, appears to be an insertion by the copyists. May Allah be pleased with him; he is better than all of this.
