Examples Nine and Ten: His saying, the Exalted, regarding the ship of Noah: {It sails under Our eyes}.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"Examples Nine and Ten: His saying, the Exalted, regarding the ship of Noah:
It runs with our eyes تجري بأعيننا
And His saying, the Exalted, to Moses:
And make it with my eyes ولتصنع على عيني
"
.
These people say: The apparent meaning of the verse is that the ship sails in the eye of Allah, based on His saying:
It runs with our eyes تجري بأعيننا
The letter "ba" comes with the meaning of "in," as in the saying of Allah, the Exalted:
And indeed, you pass by them in the morning وإنكم لتمرون عليه مصبحين وبالليل
[As-Saffat 37:137]
meaning "in the night." And they said "make it under My eye" means under the eye of Allah. Thus, thus they claimed this meaning, and they do not hold to it, O people, because they do not... at all. But what is their intention? Yes, it is denial and refutation, otherwise they do not affirm the eye at all, but they want to force the people of the Sunnah either to agree with the people of figurative interpretation on their interpretation, or at least to be lenient with them.
"The answer is: The meaning from these two verses is according to the apparent meaning of the words and their reality, according to its apparent meaning and reality, but what is the apparent meaning of the words and their reality here?" These are the people of denial of the divine attributes; they confused the issue and said: The apparent meaning of the verse is that the ship is in the eye of Allah, and that Moses is on the eye of Allah. And you, O people of the Sunnah and people of affirmation, do not say this. Well, we say: The answer is as you have heard.
Is it said: That its apparent meaning and reality is that the ship sails in the eye of Allah, or that Moses, peace be upon him, is raised above the eye of Allah? I believe no, no one says this is the apparent meaning of the words, because it is known, as will come later.
"Or is it said: That its apparent meaning is that the ship sails and the eye of Allah watches over it and protects it, and likewise the raising of Moses is under the eye of Allah, the Exalted, who watches over him and protects him with it" .
