In His saying: {It moves by Our eyes}, is it permissible to take the wording at its apparent meaning, since when a person looks at something, its image is in his eye?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward you, O Shaykh. Allah the Exalted said:
It runs with our eyes تجري بأعيننا
If we were to take the wording at its apparent meaning, there would be no contradiction, because it is possible for a human being to be in this state; when a person looks at something, the image of that thing is in his eye?

The Shaykh : O Allah, this is a question that does not deserve an answer, and it is not befitting for someone like you to respond to it. Moreover, you have equated the pupil of Allah’s eye (Mighty and Majestic) with the pupils of our eyes, and what moves in Allah’s eye is the image of the ship. This is empty talk. What is this talk? Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. We hear from some of the common people...

The Shaykh : O Allah, guide us in what You have guided, and O our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us. Yes.
