The questioner : May Allah reward you, our Shaykh. Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in *al-Madaraj*, when he spoke of Musa (peace be upon him), a phrase: "And Allah, Mighty and Majestic, means He was nurturing Musa and making him submissive".

The Shaykh : And what?

The questioner : And making him submissive.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Did the editor reject the word as a rejection?

The reader: "Like a handshaker with them, so His hand is with their hands, not above their hands".

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you, [O Muhammad] - they are actually pledging allegiance to Allah إن الذين يبايعونك إنما يبايعون الله
[Al-Fath 48:10]
We have previously discussed this phrase, and we said that they pledge allegiance to Allah because they pledge allegiance to...
