Explanation of the author's statement: (The second is that the false statement is either due to ignorance of the truth

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"The second is that the false statement is either due to ignorance of the truth, or due to the intention to mislead the creation. Both are impossible regarding the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). As for the impossibility of ignorance, its explanation has already been mentioned", or not? Okay. "As for the impossibility of the intention to mislead the creation, this is because the intention to mislead the creation is a bad intent that cannot come from the Companions, who are known for their complete sincerity toward the Ummah and their love of good for it" Yes.
It is not possible for the Companions to say falsehood in order to mislead people, because it is known from their condition that they love good and that they are the most sincere of the creation toward the Ummah. "The most sincere of the creation" means after the Messengers, toward the Ummah. So with this, it is not possible for them to intend to mislead the creation.
He said: "Then, if it were permissible for them to have a bad intent in what they said in this chapter, it would be permissible for them to have a bad intent in what they say in all other chapters of knowledge and religion", meaning if we said that the Companions might say falsehood in this chapter to mislead the creation, would it not be possible to say that they might also say falsehood in other chapters, for example in the chapter of acts of worship, to mislead people from the path of Allah? If we allow this, and that it is permissible for them to say falsehood in the chapter of beliefs and in the chapter of apparent acts of worship, then at that point we lose trust in what? In everything they say in the Shari'ah. And this undoubtedly leads to the invalidity of the Shari'ah entirely. For this reason, he mentioned the loss of trust in their reports and statements in this chapter and others. "And this is one of the most false statements, because it necessitates criticizing the entire Shari'ah."
