Continuation of the explanation of the author's statement: ". . . And as for hearing: among its evidence is the statement of the Exalted"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes, the second category is to worship Allah the Exalted in accordance with their implications, to worship Allah in accordance with the implications of these names, because worship includes supplication, as the Exalted said
And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
[Ghafir 40:60]
So what is the meaning of worshipping Allah in accordance with their implications? If one knows that Allah is severe in punishment, he avoids everything that is a cause for His punishment. If he knows that He is the Forgiving, the Merciful, he turns to everything that is a cause for His forgiveness. If he knows that He is the Provider, he turns to everything in which provision lies, since Allah is the Provider, and he turns to Allah the Mighty and Majestic in seeking provision. This is the meaning of His statement "so invoke Him by them," which is the second meaning or the second category.
And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names
[Al-A'raf 7:180]
Leave them
And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names
[Al-A'raf 7:180]
Leave them
The student: ...

The Shaykh :
And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them. And leave [the company of] those who practice deviation concerning His names
[Al-A'raf 7:180]
"Leave" means "leave," but is the meaning "leave them" as a threat to them, for Allah the Exalted will punish them, as in His statement
They will be recompensed for what they have been doing.
[Al-A'raf 7:180]
Or is the meaning "leave their way," and His statement
They will be recompensed
is a new beginning? We say the verse is compatible with both meanings, and both are correct. Leave the way of the distorters, for they will be punished, or leave these people, do not care, do not care about them, for they will be punished, as in His statement the Exalted
So leave Me, [O Muhammad], with [the matter of] whoever denies the Qur'an. We will progressively lead them [to punishment] from where they do not know.
[Al-Qalam 68:44]
And His statement "they distort His names," the distortion, I think it has passed or will come?
The student: It will come

The Shaykh : It will come, if Allah wills. We leave it until it comes.
