Also, he asks about the ruling on listening to the mawlid that praises the Messenger in the nights, with a group of brothers repeating the praise and glorification of Allah with a loudspeaker?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Also, he asks about the ruling on listening to the mawlid that praises the Messenger in the nights, with a group of brothers repeating the praise and glorification of Allah with a loudspeaker?

The Shaykh : Praising the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this manner is a religious innovation (bid'ah), for it was not known among the Companions that they would praise the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) openly in the markets or openly in the mosques, or announce it to the public. Rather, they would send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the prayer transmitted from him, and describe him (peace and blessings be upon him) with the attributes he deserves, without exaggeration, because they knew (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade exaggeration regarding him. Thus, this attribute in itself is an innovation (bid'ah) from which one is forbidden. Then, if those praises contain attributes that are not valid except for Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He), they are not permissible and are also blameworthy from another aspect, which is associating partners with Allah (shirk).

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Such as the one who says: "O most noble of creation, to whom do I turn for refuge other than you?" addressing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) .

The questioner : Yes, yes.

The Shaykh : "
O most noble of creation, to whom do I turn for refuge other than you when the general calamity befalls
If You are not taking my hand on the Day of Resurrection with pardon, then say, 'O slip of the foot!'
For from your generosity is the world and its neighbor, and from your knowledge is the knowledge of the Preserved Tablet and the Pen " Indeed, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) does not approve of this, nor does any other believer, because these attributes are not fitting except for Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Rather, his saying " For from your generosity is the world and its neighbor " makes this greater than Allah (Mighty and Majestic) " and from your knowledge is the knowledge of the Preserved Tablet and the Pen" this, and may Allah protect us, is a great abomination and associating partners with Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). The important point is that these praises, by virtue of the attribute mentioned by the questioner, are an innovation (bid'ah). Then, if they contain what is not fitting for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), meaning what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) does not approve of in terms of exaggeration, they become more ugly than their ugliness.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Yes.
