Explanation of the author's statement: "Chapter Nineteen: On the Emergence of the Doctrine of Ta'til and Its Sources"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then he said: "Chapter Nineteen: On the Emergence of the Doctrine of Ta'til and Its Sources". This has a historical aspect.
He says: "The doctrine of ta'til became widespread after the blessed generations of the Companions, the Tabi'un, and those who followed them, even though its origin had already appeared in the late period of the Tabi'un".
The doctrine of ta'til. And we must know what ta'til is?
Ta'til in language: its definition was previously given in the book. In reality, it means emptying. Yes. And in the Shari'ah: it is emptying Allah the Exalted of the names and attributes that are obligatory for Him, whether this is general or partial.
So those who deny mercy, love, anger, dislike, and wrath, we call them what? Ta'tilah, because this is ta'til.
Likewise, those who deny all attributes, we call them Ta'tilah. And likewise, those who deny the names and attributes, yes, we call them Ta'tilah. And likewise, those who do not describe Allah except by negation, we call them Ta'tilah. And likewise, those who do not describe Allah by negation or affirmation, we also call them Ta'tilah. The summary is that ta'til is emptying Allah (Mighty and Majestic) of the names and attributes that are obligatory for Him.
