Explanation of the author's statement: "1- The group of the Mushabbihah who likened them to the attributes of creation, and whose school is invalid, and the Salaf rejected it from them"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"First: The group of the Mushabbihah who likened them to the attributes of creation, and whose school is invalid, and the Salaf rejected it from them". These people said that the texts are to be taken at their apparent meaning, but they likened that apparent meaning to the attributes of creation. They said: We believe that Allah comes, that He has mercy, that He has a face, and that He has a hand, but all of this is likened, yes? to what the created beings have of that. So the hand of Allah the Exalted is like the hand of a human, and His face is like this.
Now, when we call this an apparent meaning, we only call it so by way of concession to them, otherwise the apparent meaning of the speech of Allah and His Messenger regarding His attributes is not likening, but rather it is a concession to them.
