Explanation of the Book of Purification-19

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The author (may Allah have mercy on him), in what he quoted from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), said: "And from the Seven, from Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him)":
Meaning, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
And who are the Seven?
The student: Al-Bukhari, Muslim.

The Shaykh : Al-Bukhari, Muslim.
The student: And the compilers of the Sunan.

The Shaykh : The compilers of the Sunan, how many?
The student: Four.

The Shaykh : Four, and Ahmad. May Allah reward you.
Good, he says: "From Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him)":
Meaning, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
"He said:
Do not face the qiblah, and do not turn your backs to it, when relieving yourselves of urine or feces, but face east or west لا تستقبلوا القبلة ولا تستدبروها بغائط ولا بول ولكن شرقوا أو غربوا
Sunan ad-Daraqutni 1:145
"
:
And do not turn your backs to it when relieving yourselves of urine or feces: It was mentioned previously in the hadith of Salman that we should not face the qiblah when relieving ourselves of urine or feces. So this hadith adds to what came before, what?
Turning one's back to it.
And the qiblah is the Ka'bah or its direction.
And his statement:
rather face toward the east or the west ولكن شرقوا أو غربوا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 21Sahih (Darussalam)
: This instruction is for the people of Madinah and those whose qiblah is their direction, because the people of Madinah's qiblah is to the south. So if they face east or west, the qiblah will be on their right or on their left. So in this hadith, the address is directed to a specific group of people, specifically them and those like them.
