The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And follow what is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed, Allah has been, with what you do, Acquainted.))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
If the evidence indicates that it is obligatory, then it is obligatory; and if the evidence indicates that it is recommended, then it is recommended. Yes.
And it is derived from the noble verse the establishment of the message and prophethood of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), due to His saying:
The student:
what is revealed to you from your Lordْ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ
[Al-Ahzab: 2]

The Shaykh : Due to His saying:
what is revealed to you from your Lordْ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ
[Al-Ahzab: 2] And from the first verse:
O Prophet
Yes.
And it is derived from the noble verse that Allah the Exalted has a specific lordship regarding the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), due to His saying:
From your Lord
And it has passed us by many times that lordship is of two types and servitude is of two types: general lordship and specific lordship. So an example of general lordship is
Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them
[Maryam: 65]. Is this general or specific? General. And an example of the specific is like this verse:
From your Lord
And the two types came together in the saying of Allah the Exalted:
(121) They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, (122) The Lord of Moses and Aaron."
[Al-A'raf: 121-122]. And likewise, servitude is general and specific. So the general is like the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Indeed, Allah is Seeing of [His] servants." إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِالْعِبَادِ
[Ghafir: 44], which is general, and the specific is
Exalted is He who took His Servant by night
[Al-Isra: 1], where the intended meaning is the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him).
And it is derived from the noble verse that the knowledge of Allah the Exalted encompasses the hidden matters, due to His saying:
Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.
[Al-Ahzab: 2]. And it is derived from it a warning to the person against disobedience.
The student: ...?

The Shaykh : We do not say a warning to the person against disobedience.
The student: ...?

The Shaykh : Because this necessitates that we do not disobey Allah as long as we know that He is Acquainted with what we do. So it is not possible for us to disobey Allah the Mighty and Majestic. It is clear, like if I said, for example, "Go, and I know what you are doing." What is the intent of this? It is a threat and a warning against disobedience. So every text in which Allah clarifies that He knows what we do is a warning to us against disobeying Him. It comes here because there is no one.
