The student: Is recitation not reading?

The Shaykh : When recitation is mentioned in the context of
those who recite the Book of Allah الذين يتلون كتاب الله
[Fatir 35:29]
Those to whom We have given the Book recite it with its true recital الَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَتْلُونَهُ حَقَّ تِلاوَتِهِ
[Surat al-Baqarah: 121], it encompasses both the verbal and the meaningful aspects. However, here the apparent meaning is only the verbal aspect.
He said:
of the verses of Allah and wisdom من آيات الله والحكمة
[Al-Ahzab 33:34]
