Exegesis of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And He guides to the path of the Mighty, the Praiseworthy”

And He guides to the path ويهدي إلى صراط
the path
The Mighty, the Praiseworthy. العزيز الحميد
of Allah, the Possessor of might, the Praiseworthy”

guidesيهدي
It means it indicates, so the guidance here is guidance of indication and direction. Guidance is of two types: guidance of success and guidance of indication. As for guidance of success, no one possesses it except Allah (Mighty and Majestic). Allah the Exalted said to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)
Indeed, [O Muhammad], you do not guide whom you like إنك لا تهدي من أحببت
[Al-Qasas 28:56]
. And as for guidance of indication, it is established for everything that serves as direction and indication. So the Qur'an guides to a straight path, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) guides to a straight path. Do you understand? Here,
And He guides to the pathويهدي إلى صراط
what does “guides” mean? It means it indicates. And His saying
to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -إلى صراط العزيز الحميد
[Ibrahim 14:1]
means Allah. And here He said
the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -صراط العزيز الحميد
[Ibrahim 14:1]
just as He the Exalted said in Surat Ibrahim:
that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -لتخرج الناس من الظلمات إلى النور بإذن ربهم إلى صراط العزيز الحميد
[Ibrahim 14:1]
So He attributed it to this great name, which indicates might, as a sign that whoever holds fast to this path will have might.
the Praiseworthyالحميد
is also a sign that whoever adheres to this path...
