Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Then He clarified this path by saying
The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray. صراط الذين أنعمت عليهم غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين

The student : Three

The Shaykh : three categories. Now the three categories have come. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor—who are those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor? They are the knowledgeable and the workers, and they are four types. Allah the Exalted said:
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger - those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor ومن يطع الله والرسول فأولئك مع الذين أنعم الله عليهم
[An-Nisa 4:69]
Here
of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions. من النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقاً
[An-Nisa 4:69]
This is praise from Allah the Mighty and Majestic. It is good. The scholars of grammar said: "Inna means how excellent" How excellent, how good those companions are. May Allah make us among their companions and place us in the highest company, O Lord of the worlds, with those upon whom Allah has bestowed favor from the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.
