Commentary on Tafsir al-Jalalayn: ((And the driving away with a driving away)) The angels drive away the clouds, meaning they move them.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And the driving away with a driving away فالزاجرات زجرا
They drive away the clouds, meaning they move them. So the one being described is a single entity: the rows are the drivers. And his saying "They drive away the clouds, meaning they move them" is perhaps an example of the angels' driving away, because the angels drive away the clouds, meaning they move them. Likewise, they drive away the soul of the disbeliever at his death, driving his soul to make it exit, saying, "Go out, O evil soul." And perhaps they also drive away other things that we do not know. The important point is: who are the drivers? The angels. And how were they driving? We say there are several aspects to this, including driving the clouds, driving the souls of disbelievers at death, and other things that Allah commands them to drive away.
