The Shaykh : May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad. Who said this? ... I mean, if the Muslims fight the disbelievers and they are twelve thousand, they will not be overcome. But they will not be overcome in terms of quantity; as for quality, if twelve million gathered together, they would be defeated. For the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke the truth. By Allah, we are today like the foam of a flood. Otherwise, how could our sleep be sweet or our food pleasant, while our brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovina have their bodies torn apart, their sanctities violated, and their homes occupied? Where is Islam? I mean, if people had walked on their feet from the farthest west to the farthest east to support their brothers, that would not have been strange if religion were a reality. But, unfortunately, their brothers are doing this to them, and we are silent, sleeping on our beds. By Allah, this is disgrace and shame before Allah and before creation. If a Jew were killed in occupied, usurped land, the world would rise up, and the nations behind it would rise up. But these people are being killed, and the promise is a lie. They say today, "We will strike the Serbs and Croats," and tomorrow they will say, "Do not strike the Serbs and Croats; if you strike them, they will attack the United Nations peacekeepers." Let them kill the Muslims and let the United Nations groups be safe; it does not matter. So, the result is that the hadith: This is if we were to be truthful with Allah. But as for us now, we want nothing but the filling of our bellies, the desire of our private parts, and the pleasure of our beds. So we will be overcome even if we were twelve thousand million. Yes.
