The Benefits of the Verse: ((Allah, there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer...))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Among the benefits of the preceding noble verses is, first: affirming the divinity of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as He said:
Allah الله
. Second: His uniqueness in this divinity, as He said:
There is no god but He لا إله إلا هو
. And among the benefits of the verse is: affirming two of the names of Allah:
the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsisting الحي القيوم
It has been reported that these are the Greatest Name of Allah because they encompass the perfection of His essence, attributes, and actions, is that so? Good. And among the benefits of the verse is: affirming His life and His sustaining, from where is this taken, Ya Fahd?
Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence الله لا إلا هو الحي القيوم
[Al-Baqarah 2:255]
Well, these are "the Ever-Living, the Sustainer," and we said affirming His life and His sustaining? "The Ever-Living" is a definite noun in general; every name includes the attribute, and it may include an additional matter, which is the ruling called the effect, is that not so? Yes, good. Among the benefits of the noble verse is: that everything is in need of Allah, and that Allah is free from need of anything other than Him. The reason for this is: because the perfection of His life necessitates His being free from need of everyone, and the perfection of His sustaining necessitates the need of everything for Him, and it is so. Allah the Exalted said:
And of His signs is that the heaven and earth remain by His command ومن آياته أن تقوم السماء والأرض بأمره
[Ar-Rum 30:25]
And He the Exalted said:
Then is He who is a maintainer of every soul, [knowing] what it has earned أفمن هو قائم على كل نفس بما كسبت
[Ar-Ra'd 13:33]
