Continuation of the benefits of the verse: ((Say, "If you hide what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it...")).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The intended meaning of the intellect is not the actual power in the brain, but rather the heart. What is meant by the heart? The true heart is the piece of flesh in the chest. For this reason, He said:
which are within the breasts. التي في الصدور
[Al-Hajj 22:46]
And whose speech is this? It is the speech of the Creator, Mighty and Majestic, and the Creator knows best what He has created. However, the brain undoubtedly has an effect, because the brain visualizes a thing, organizes it, prepares it, then sends it to the heart and waits for orders. Then the heart issues orders to where? To the brain. It is not to the intellect; the intellect is in the heart. It sends it to the brain. The brain is a faithful, obedient servant that directs orders to the soldiers, the limbs. Do not be surprised by this matter. How do you say, "Is there a moment in this where there is issuance and execution?" We say: Allah, Mighty and Exalted, is capable of all things. So the brain visualizes and corrects things, then sends them to the heart and says, "The order." The heart commands or forbids, and then this brain executes everything without delay. For this reason, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Beware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart. ألا وإن في الجسد مضغة إذا صلحت صلح الجسد كله وإذا فسدت فسد الجسد كله ألا وهي القلب
Sahih al-Bukhari 52
As for what is now common among doctors that the heart only purifies the blood and sends it, receiving the corrupt blood, cleaning it, and sending it to the veins and arteries, this is not correct. Because we say to them: Are you more knowledgeable, or is Allah? Undoubtedly, Allah is more knowledgeable because He is the Creator. But we agree with you that the brain has an effect, but the aspect of that effect is that, by the permission of Allah, it is receptive to whatever the heart commands it to do. Yes.
