The benefits of the verse: ((Say, "If you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, Allah knows it...")).

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Now, among the benefits of this verse is, first: the obligation to inform people of Allah the Exalted's knowledge of what is in their hearts, based on His saying:
Say, "Whether you conceal what is in your breasts or reveal it, Allah knows it. قل إن تخفوا ما في صدوركم أو تبدوه يعلمه الله
[Ali 'Imran 3:29]
. Another benefit of it is the comprehensiveness of Allah Mighty and Majestic's knowledge, covering what a person conceals and what he reveals. Another benefit of the verse is that intellect is in the heart, deliberation is in the heart, and will is in the heart, because He said:
If you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it إن تخفوا ما في صدروكم أو تبدوه
. The scholars of theology have differed on this issue: is the intellect in the heart or in the brain? But whoever reflects on the verses of the Qur'an finds that the intellect is in the heart. Indeed, whoever reflects on the verses of the Qur'an and the Prophetic hadiths finds that Allah the Exalted said:
So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason أفلم يسيروا في الأرض فتكون لهم قلوب يعقلون بها
[Al-Hajj 22:46]
For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts. فإنها لا تعمى الأبصار ولكن تعمى القلوب التي في الصدور
[Al-Hajj 22:46]
This verse is explicit text that the intellect is in the heart, and explicit text that what is meant by intellect is not the spiritual power in the brain, but rather what is meant by the heart is what? The true heart.
