On His saying, the Exalted: “After a bequest he may make or a debt.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : His saying, the Exalted:
after any bequest he [may have] made or debt من بعد وصية يوصي بها أو دين ...
[An-Nisa 4:11]
The bequest here is absolute, yet you have restricted it by what is reported in the Sunnah, the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
There is no bequest for an heir لا وصية لوارث
?

The Shaykh : No, it is taken from the verse
And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah ومن يتعد حدود الله
[Al-Baqarah 2:229]
because the one who makes a bequest to an heir has given him more than what Allah has prescribed for him, and that is transgressing the limits of Allah.
