A discussion regarding the verse: “And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and an abomination, and evil as a way.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And do not marry those [women] whom your fathers married, except what has already occurred. Indeed, it was an immorality and hateful [to Allah] and was evil as a way. ولا تنكحوا ما نكح آبائكم من النساء إلا ما قد سلف إنه كان فاحشة ومقتا وساء سبيلا
[An-Nisa 4:22]
. What is the meaning of His statement:
And do not marry ولا تنكحوا
? That is, do not marry the women your fathers married through a marriage contract. Regarding His statement:
those [women] whom your fathers married ما نكح آبائكم
“what”, what is its grammatical analysis? It is a relative pronoun.
