Now, if he prays eleven rak'ahs on one night, thirteen rak'ahs on another night, and twenty-three rak'ahs on a third night, is there anything wrong with that?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Now, if he prays eleven rak'ahs on one night, thirteen rak'ahs on another night, and twenty-three rak'ahs on a third night, is there anything wrong with that?

The Shaykh : Yes, there is something to it, because I fear that some people may understand that this is part of the Sunnah, and it is not. The Sunnah is eleven or thirteen. If he prays eleven on one night and thirteen on another, there is no blame on him.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : But if he prays twenty-three, many people, or most of the people who pray with him, will believe that twenty-three is what the Sunnah prescribes.
