Reading a research paper on the tracing of the hadith: “O Allah, bless for us Rajab and Sha'ban, and bring us to Ramadan”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: This is the tracing of the hadith of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), who said:
Anas said that when Rajab came God’s Messenger said, “O God, bless us in Rajab and Sha'ban and bring us to Ramadan.” كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا دخل رجب قال اللهم بارك لنا في رجب وشعبان وبلغنا رمضان
Mishkat al-Masabih 1369
and he used to say:
The night of Friday is dark and its day is bright. ليلة الجمعة غراء ويومها أزهر
This hadith was narrated by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad, and it is in al-Hilyah.
Al-Haythami said in Majma' al-Zawa'id: “It was narrated by al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in al-Awsat, and in it is Ziyad ibn Abi al-Riqad, and there is a discussion about him, though he has been deemed trustworthy.”
Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar said in Mukhtasar Zawa'id Musnad al-Bazzar: “Its chain is weak, or its addition is weak.”
Al-Suyuti said in al-Durr al-Manthur: “Al-Bayhaqi deemed it weak.”
And Ziyad is Ibn Abi al-Riqad al-Bahili. Al-Qawariri said: “There was no harm in him, and I wrote everything from him.”
And Abu Hatim said: “He narrates from Ziyad al-Namiri from Anas marfu' hadiths that are denounced and not transmitted.”

The Shaykh : And not transmitted.
The reader: And you do not know whether it is from him or from Ziyad, and you do not know whether it is from him or from Ziyad.

The Shaykh : Perhaps “you do not know” means what a person does, yes.
The reader: “And you do not know whether it is from him or from Ziyad, and I do not know that anyone narrated from him other than Ziyad.”

The Shaykh : Perhaps “you do not know” who he is, do you have it memorized?
The student: ...

The Shaykh : Do you know here?
The student: ... We do not know.

The Shaykh : We do not know; it appears that “we do not know” is better.
The reader: “And we do not know whether it is from him or from Ziyad, and I do not know that anyone narrated from him.”

The Shaykh : Who he is, or from Ziyad.
The reader: Yes, and we do not know who he is, or from Ziyad. Is this correct, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Yes, indeed.
The student: We do not know who he is.

The Shaykh : Or from Ziyad, do you not have “or from Ziyad”?
The reader: Except, O Shaykh, but we do not know from him...

The Shaykh : Ah?
The reader: He wrote “we do not know from him or from Ziyad.”

The Shaykh : Do you know? From him, from him, the pronoun means...
The reader: ...

The Shaykh : So the meaning differs. I thought it was a detached pronoun, meaning a separate pronoun, so now the meaning of your statement is that it is an attached pronoun.
The reader: Yes, exactly

The Shaykh : Meaning, we do not know whether the weakness is from him or from Ziyad.
The reader: “And we do not know whether it is from him or from Ziyad, and I do not know that anyone narrated from him other than Ziyad, so we said we consider his hadith.”
And al-Bukhari said: “The hadith is denounced.” And Abu Dawud said: “I do not know it.” And al-Nasa'i said: “The hadith is denounced.” And this hadith was deemed weak by Al-Albani in Da'if al-Jami'. And Allah the Exalted knows best. Written by Ali ibn Muhammad Nur.

The Shaykh : ... Ihab.
