The True, The Manifest

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"The Manifest" "The Manifest" here has two meanings: "manifest" and "the One who made things manifest." Both are correct. So Allah the Exalted is True and Manifest; He is not hidden from anyone. In every thing there is a sign indicating that He is One. "How can anything be valid in the minds if the day itself needs proof?" He is also the One who makes the truth manifest, as Allah the Exalted said in various verses:
We have shown clearly the signs to a people who are certain [in faith]. قد بينا الآيات لقوم يعلمون
[Al-Baqarah 2:118]
or
for a people who use reason لقوم يعقلون
or similar. We said that "Manifest" means "manifest" because "abana" (to make manifest) comes from "bana" (to be manifest). For example, the phrase "abana al-subh" means "the dawn became manifest" and appeared. Therefore, we consider "al-Mubin" to encompass both meanings: "manifest" and "the One who made things manifest."
